"living away from nl we seem to always get a hard time about our accent, especially the words starting with ""h"". i once overheard a conservation in regards to this subject between my husband, his brother and a couple of friends from alberta. one of the guys from ab asked my husband how does a newfie say ""hungry""? everyone was silent for a second when my brother-in-law trying to be very serious said ""starvin b'y"". no ""h"" there..everyone had a great laugh.- great laugh."   Submitted By: NULL
