My name is Daphne Rideout from Moreton's Hr. I am a fisherperson and we are at the lobsters. We were often looking over the lobster traps to see which ones were good to put out. We left two on our boat trailer by the store.
When we went out by the store after a few days, we noticed that a robin had made her nest in one of the traps. She had two eggs in there. and the next day, it was raining, and she slanted her nest so the water wouldn't stay in there. They are pretty smart birds.
So lobster traps can be used for more than just catching lobsters - this one doubles also as a robin's nursery.   Submitted By: NULL
