Buns in the Oven?
The picture of the fresh yummy bread is what my husband (Wayne) baked in the French bread oven in our community. He is such a pro at baking it now! He's been doing it for the last few years. I do the house part of it! And the foil wrapping in the oven is 9 dozen roast caplin awaiting the seniors' arrival. We have an event each summer when different seniors from different seniors' homes come for an afternoon tea/coffee (in this case), but we have another who comes for dinner each year for the last few years now. The community of Shoe Cove loves to see them come and throws them a wonderful dinner of fisherman's brewis, soups, all kinds of sweets, and especially the bread and roast caplin, which is what they request each year, since they found out what it tasted like after their first visit. I always say you have never tasted yummy, delicious bread until you taste this. It has such a distinct taste, and one you won't forget very quickly. Submitted By: NULL
