This picture was taken in July 2003, just driving out from the parking lot at Viking Village, L'anse aux Meadows. We were in Newfoundland celebrating my wife's mom and dad's 50th wedding anniversary, Ruby and Clyde Whalen, Corner Brook. Our family traveled in seperate vehicles that day. That evening, the family was all together, my brother in-law Bob (from Stephenville) said he saw 2 bull moose just leaving the Viking Village parking lot. Bringing up the rear that day just minutes behind Bob, we actually saw 4 bull moose. We all laughed about this but to this day my wife and I are still not sure if they believe us.
