Bronx the French Mastiff
June 17th, 2012
My late husband, Geoff Drew-Brook (deceased April 20th 2012, very suddenly), intended to send this picture of Bronx, a French mastiff who is a much-loved pet of our great-grandchildren Chase, Madison and Nickolas DaCosta, children of our granddaughter Christina and husband Danny of Oakville, Ontario.
Geoff was a "wannabe" Newfie. He and I enjoyed a wonderful visit to the Island in August of 1999, including a visit to your store. He used to promote your magazine by supplying various outlets with copies for sale which he picked up at the store in Brampton for a number of years.
He died, age 84, of an abdominal aneurysm, having lived well and active right up to the end. We were married 55 ½ years.
Wouldn't you know!
"They won't let me watch scary programs," says Bronx!
