I recently returned home (St. John's) with my two children, Mackenzie and Madison. I was so excited about bringing my girls to Bowring Park to feed the ducks, just as I had done when I was growing up. The weather was beautiful, the ducks were hungry...and Baloo the Newfoundland Puppy was friendly. We (my cousin and I) had seen this beautiful, 3-month-old Newfoundland dog puppy walking through the park with his owner, Neil Fitzgerald. We asked if we may be able to get a picture taken with his dog. Not only did he let us do that, but, he also let my oldest daughter frolic and play with the gentle pup.
