March 24, 2012 Go Bolts!! I live in Tampa Bay, where Teddy Purcell is the toast of the "Bolt" fans- reporters on the TV, and in the Tampa Bay Times too (finally). I knew he could if given a chance - now he has the chance. A few minutes ago, I saw him score a goal. Yesterday on our Channel 31, at least a half hour was devoted to Teddy. The reception was terrible, but I was glued to the screen. I heard (among other things) that he went to the University of Maine in Orono. Then they showed a fan holding up a huge Newfoundland flag. I was so proud. Most of the people in the stands probably can't skate - so why are they nuts about hockey? Beats me. I love the magazine and read every word.
