Blind Faith
Over the edge, with complete abandon
The roaring water tumbles,
Frothing and hissing like an untamed beast!
Cascading unchecked from the precipice
The mighty river hurls itself
Into the deep gorge far below,
Treacherous cliffs, slippery with heavy mist
Have stood unconquered for centuries!
Footing for fools, impossible terrain
Designed by nature to remain untouched!
Yet in the sky above
Like a bird without wings
He soars over the treetops!
Suspended by blind faith
He is tethered to his destiny.
