Blind Faith!
Good Morrow to Ya!
Sometimes I lie awake in the wee small hours and contemplate
all the people who I meet in my life. Whether
friend or foe.
I think about placing my trust in them.
For instance my Dentist who repairs an Old filling
in a hard to get at area and have to build a new tooth
on the old one.Have them match and it takes Skill and hard work.
Those Airline Pilots who fly the big Planes arriving safely to our destination.
One time when I was in the Air Force we were somewhere in the Middle East
and Ahmed our Taxi driver started taking us on a different route to the Airport.
The Pilot says.We are on a tight schedule and have to fly Important People and must go directly to the Airport. Not before Ahmed took us to see his Cousins Jewellery Store.
Back to my Story. How about the Doctor who blows the Wax from my Ears.Lola
says I should see him more often. When he puts that spray gun to my ear.
It feels like it is going to blow out my other ear and I am left deaf for life.
That never happens.Perhaps the tour Guide you only know as Jose is going to
take You across the Border into a 3rd World Country and warns you not to mention
Politics or Religion. If you like Sky Jumping and are hoping the person who packed the Parachute did not forget anything
One from my hitchhiking days.Let’s hope your ride is not with someone with
Anger Management issues and someone cuts him off.He eagerly tries to run the Guy off the Road and you wonder what to say if you survive and have to appear as a witness.
A couple more examples before I finish up.The Cook in the Restaurant with the dirty hands and passes on E-Coli in your meal and you end up having a near death Experience and last but not least the 60 plus guy behind you on the Plane with Allergy issues is coughing up his last lung non stop once the Air Conditioning kicks in
and does not cover his mouth.Your ears and neck receive a nice warm mist and you ponder if all those recent immunisations will really save you.
Even with trust issues. We put our faith in a lot of people daily. We have to if we plan on leaving the house and living a somewhat productive life.
I am not really a germ a phoebe. Just a few things to ponder in our daily journey
