Taken while in NL last July with my daughter Brenda. I was born in St. John's and moved here to California in 1966. I go back quite regularly.
A picture of my sisters, myself and my daughter: Sister #1, that's me, Sharon; Sister #2- Carol, living Corner Brook; Sister #3- Dianne, living in Gander; and my daughter, Brenda Bien, living in Las Vegas, Nevada.
We spent three weeks on the island and had just a wonderful time. We flew into St. John's, toured the East coast, Brenda did some kayaking, we went south to Cape Race as she loves lighthouses, then over to Gander to my sisters. From there, the four of us travelled inland to Grand Falls to visit my brother, Boyd Osmond. We left there for Corner Brook, on up the coast to St. Anthony and further on a boat to Quirpon Island where my youngest sister #3 and I did some mummering on the island.
I love Newfoundland!!!! It is one beautiful place and all the people are wonderful!!!
