Belongs to Pity Harbour
In 1984 I worked as a Assistant Bar Manager at The Officer’s Mess at Harvey Barracks
in Calgary when The Army of The West had a Base there.
I was working as a Bartender at Noon and The Strathcona Colonel Of the Regiment was up at the Bar telling
The Service Battalion Colonel of the Regiment about just getting off Parade with a bunch of New Recruits.
The Colonel stops in front of this new Recruit and asks.”Where are You from Private?”
He answers” I belongs to Pity Harbour” Never know who is eavesdropping on your Chat.
Especially a Guy with ADHD who can hear four tables Chat at once.
Think I am hooked on these Short Stories.Must have a million of them.As long as the Bottles
hold out.The more you drink the better they will sound.Sober words from a Recovering Addict.
Take Care.
