The Bayeux War Cemetery is the largest Second World War cemetery of Commonwealth soldiers in France, located in Bayeux, Normandy. The cemetery contains 4,648 burials, mostly of the Invasion of Normandy, 06 June 1944. All of these WW2 D-Day cemeteries are emotional to walk through, as there is such a loss of young life. I visited here in September 2013.
