Battle Harbour Plane Crash
You are looking at the remains of a plane crash that occurred more than 20 years ago on the hills behind the Battle Harbour establishment. I don't know the whole story behind the crash, but for some reason the weather-beaten shell of the plane has been allowed to remain all these years. This photo clearly shows the rugged Labrador landscape and the Atlantic ocean in the background. We were there on a cool, rainy day. One can only wonder what it must be like when the weather turns bad! Submitted By: Carol Parsons
