One autumn leaf on my birch tree
A sign of cooler days to be
The process of change from green to yellow
The thought of winter can make me mellow

But warm winds will blow for some time yet
As I watch a 747 jet
Over my head way up in the sky
Summer is slowly saying goodbye

Autumn's colours begin to unfold
Its kaleidoscope of beauty captivates my soul
An air of mystery is engulfing me
Reflect in each leaf on my autumn tree

I sense a universal power
That brought creation to this hour
As it flows through every time & space
It also saturates this place

It flows through me and is full of light
I’m imbued with its peaceful beauty so bright
