In September 2005, a friend and I stopped to have some ice cream in Trout River, where we met a man buying his daily cone, which he always shares with his dog "Wishbone." I snapped a photo of him standing beside the picture of the big cone on the restaurant wall, and then another of him at his home across the road, where Wishbone was getting his treat.
As I was planning to be in the area again the next July, I took copies of the two photos, found Mr. Crocker and Wishbone at home and gave him the snaps. Then we crossed the road for his daily vanilla ice cream, and I asked one of the ladies there to take a picture of us together beside the cone sign. Here are my pictures. The last one was taken just two days before his birthday on July 4th - Happy Birthday again Mr. Crocker. Maybe we will meet for another ice cream cone next year!   Submitted By: NULL
