Hello from Kabul,
From NF, pictured are WO Dave Cook, Sgt Randy Quilty and Major Rod Long, in front of ISAF HQ in Kabul. We had just finished a sunrise ceremony with our fellow soldiers to commemorate what has become known as ANZAC Day; the Battle of Gallipoli in which Australia, New Zealand and the Royal Newfoundland Regiment fought side by side. Later in the day, a BBQ and games of chance were played.
Thank you for supporting us Canadian soldiers both here in Afghanistan and on other tours of duty around the world. Having the support of our fellow countrymen determines our resolve to win this fight and boosts our pride to be Canadian.
