The Annual Newfie Picnic held in Lisbon, ME in July brought Newfoundlanders from across the USA as well as Canada. It was a fun time with music by the Squid Jiggers. The mummers , as usual, were very entertaining in their frolicking style. The bountiful buffet included many NL dishes. Five more fortunate folks from IA, ME, MD, and RI became Honorary Newfoundlanders with the Screeching In ceremony. "This year's event was the biggest and best ever" stated Lena Hann of Freshwater.
