an old abandoned food cellar
This old cellar is located in the Woody Cove area of Rocky Harbour. This Cove was a home to at least a dozen homes before they were moved after Parks Canada opened Gros Morne National Park. The cellar is long been abandoned but was easy to get to and photograph in May 2021.
PS. I remember meeting Ron Young many years ago when he was first starting the Downhomer magazine in Brampton Ontario. I also met him again in St. John's about 19 years ago when he had moved there to continue his Downhomer Magazine and come back home. it's been long time ago when I would deliver free copies of the Downhomer to several stores in Thunder Bay Ontario.
