After Newfoundland, of course, the Rockies must be the most amazing place in Canada. On our cross-country trip, we took advantage of boat tours all of the time. The water in the lakes is a greenish-blue colour and has a cloudy look to it. What I understand is, the colour is caused by the melting of the glacier ice and it running into the rivers and lakes. You can see a (at the time) dry waterfall in the background. Certain times of the year, it is booming with water.   Submitted By: Diana Osmond
