Come sit and listen to my little rhyme
I would say more, but haven’t the time.
I’ll start with the A end up with the Z.
And if you don’t like it, that’s just too darn bad.

A— is for after the package is gone.
B— is for Brian, he came down from St. John’s.
C— is for cutbacks he is sending our way.
D— is for doubtful if the package will stay.
E— is for equal, we all should be.
F— is for the fishermen, they came from the sea.
G— is for Government who is paying the cost.
H— is for our heritage that we’ve lost.
I— is for ignore us, that’s what they have done.
J— is for "join the union my son."
K— is for the kindness they’ve not shown.
L— is for the liars that’s how they’re known.
M— is for money that they get us to spend.
N— is for nothing, it all comes to an end.
O— is for the ocean, the fish are all gone.
P— is for the package that we’re living on.
Q— is for the quickest way that they could find.
R— is for retirement but it all takes time.
S— is for the salmon that’s all gone too.
T— is for training they want us to do.
U— is for union they could not agree.
V— is for voices they won’t listen to we.
W— is for the water in the ocean so blue.
X— is for excuse them make sure that you do.
Y— is for up yonder in old Ottawa.
Z— is for zero it, makes nothing at all.

Now I have finished this short little rhyme, I said at the
beginning I never had time. It’s only short just like A,B,C.
If you don’t like this it won’t bother me. As for this rhyme
it may stay on the shelf. If you want anymore, then just do
it yourself.
