The lady in the centre of the picture is my mother, Bertha May Wiseman, daughter of Martha and Edgar Nickles. The background was the old Nicklesville bridge. Bertha May is the great-grandmother of Heather and Lara Strong, our curling girls, who have been representing Newfoundland over the past year.
