A poem that pays Downhome its due,
maybe, a trifle, overdue,
but, never fear, the 'hail' is here,
and, thanks, to thee, the tales are true!

Its Newfoundland and Labrador gives labour's love, and lots of lore;
a painter's paradise, no doubt, is music to the artist's mouth;
A potpourri of all things, Newf, and Labradorian, forsooth, will please the palate, and
the eye, for anyone, who happens by;

Thus, in its decades since the launch,
it sets its sails, undaunted, vaunts,
o'er waves of charted and uncharted seas,
a mag of choice, and sure to please!
