A Fairy Tale.
My little ceramic garden fairy had been left out in the garden over winter. As a result, when spring arrived, I discovered that her wings had been damaged and broken off. After several failed attempts to glue them back on, I placed her back in the garden anyway. She had been a gift from a friend and neighbor across the road so I did not want to discard her. One morning this summer, when my husband was out watering the flowers, he called out to me and said "You have to come out and see this" There before my eyes was my garden fairy....complete with a perfectly formed and beautiful set of wings. During the night, a spider had skillfully and gracefully given her a new set of wings, enhanced and made more noticeable by the morning dew. Being a camera buff, I quickly captured this image of my newly adorned garden fairy.......wings and all! Submitted By: nancy molloy
