Myself and a few friends were gathered around a campfire preparing our meal of baked beans, bologna and homemade bread as well as a strong cup of steeped tea followed by molasses buns. We were enjoying a drink of Newfoundland Screech in anticipation of our meal. One of the guys noticed a mosquito in his drink. "Think about it boys, how the alc0hol killed this mosquito. What is it doing to us?" Quick as a wink another of the group quipped, "He's not dead my son, he's just passed out." The wit of Newfounlanders!
