This is my golden retriever named cooper. We were eating our dinner when a bird hit our patio window. Cooper ran right for the bird when I opened the door. I was afraid what he might do but to my surprise he laid down next to the little bird and let out the most heart breaking whine. He stayed next to the bird for half hour with his nose touching and covering it in drool. Finally, the bird flew away and cooper gained a friend.   Submitted By:
