A Catch For the Birds – Like It or Not
A couple of months ago, we went ice fishing (I love it!). It was very exciting when I caught a trout that was one and a half pounds. Then, a short while after that, I caught another. That one was two pounds three ounces.
If there were any animals near the pond that day, they must have left in a hurry, 'cause I must have scared them, ha ha. We caught some nice fish that day, my husband Art and I. We had to leave the biggest fish; we laid it on the snow, and the jay thought it was a nice fish too, I think. I love to feed them out of my hands, but this wasn't meant to be a bird's lunch.
