Hi folks,
On Thursday November 21 2024 my wife and I (Phil Craig) went to visit a friend in St. George, ON, who I haven’t seen since 1964,(60 years ago). My friend’s name is Calvin Power. We grew up together on Bell Island, Newfoundland.
Then the mines closed down in the 60s. Then we forced to move. We moved to Toronto ON, which was in 1964. Later that year I moved to Kitchener, Ontario. Then we lost contact with each other.
Then our lives took a different direction. Here is a picture which was taken on November 21, 2024. Calvin is on the left and I am on the right. Calvin is 78 years old and I am 79 years old.
We had a beautiful reunion and lots of humour. Calvin married a lady from the Toronto area, her name is Mary Power. My wife’s name is Judy Craig. Our friendship will continue on.
Do you know somebody you haven’t seen for many years?  Reunions are very rewarding.  Don't wait 60 years.
