"Hi; I`ve been meaning to do this before. It`s a little story about my daughter when she was about Three years old. She has just turned 25, but this story comes about every now and again and we still laugh about it! We hope you find it as funny as we did all these years! Every year around remembrance time a retired old war veteran from our tiny community in Nfld would go from door to door selling poppies. This day when we were visiting my inlaws, a knock came at the door and I went to see who it was. There stood the old war veteran, selling Poppies. He said how many poppies would you like mame. That`s when I realized my daughter who was about three at the time, was tugging on my pant leg. She looked all flushed in the face and wide eyed. She looked at the man and said in a flustered voice. We don`t need any papa`s. I have two papa`s now. I have a Papa Caines and a Papa Gould. With that the man looked at me and we went into a fit of laughter! My daughter looked on confused. She didn`t realize what she`d said had been so funny!- " Submitted By: NULL
