"An aunt of mine had moved to Halifax,Nova Scotia and had begun to work at Sears, usually during coffee break, someone usually started telling newfie jokes and in a degrading manner, and she just sat there silently, and said nothing, untill one day someone said your some quiet don`t you know any jokes? O yes my dear,I know a couple and went on to say, one day just off the coast of Nova Scotia there were two Boats fishing for cod, one a Newfie crew and the other a Nova Scotian crew. Every so often the Newfie crew would throw a fish back and said we can`t keep that one its from Nova Scotia, then the Nova Scotian`s becoming intrigued came over and said how can you tell which of the fish are from Nova Scotia, to which the reply was they are the one`s with the big Mouths. My Aunt looked at all the looks of dismay, on their faces, and said O by the way I`m from Heart`s Delight NFLD, needless to say Newfie jokes were kept low key at Sears for awhile.- " Submitted By: NULL
