Dear Downhome, Must write a few lines this morning. Your Downhome is super, special, perfect for all ages, excellent and priceless. I enjoy the jokes. I am enclosing one. Also the thoughts of my deceased parents are special. Here are my thoughts. About Dad, in 1955 he got a TV to watch hockey and enjoy his Dominion beer. Well one Saturday morning it didn't work. I told Dad there was a special hockey game on Sunday so he got the TV fixed. Now come Sunday when he turned the TV on, there was Ed Sullivan and Elvis Presley. He knew then it was tricky on my part, but oh yes, Dad watched the show. Then my Mom. When I was home in 2000, I came home and the door was open and two rocking chairs were tipped over, no sign of mom. I finally saw her in the garden telling me the chairs had a squeak so she put margarine on them to prevent the squeaks. God Bless them, Veronica Lunn Submitted By: NULL
