50 Years in the Making
As teenagers, my parents left NL for Ontario... My Mom (Margaret Joan Vokey) made her way to Toronto. My Dad (Edward Hynes) joined the military. They eventually met up in Kingston in 1966 while staying at the same boarding house. This photo was taken for their engagement in 1968. Taken in front of 92 Queens Rd. The Gower Street United Church can be seen in the background. 50 years later, after living in Toronto for 45 years, they are back living in NL and recreated this wonderful moment. Submitted By:
