Stuffed Whales’ Tails

1 lb lean ground beef
1 tbsp dried red pepper flakes
1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese, cubed
1⁄4 tsp chili powder
3 tubes (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent rolls

In a large pan, cook beef and red pepper flakes over medium heat until meat is cooked; drain into a bowl. Add cream cheese and chili powder; mix well. Cool slightly. Separate crescent dough into 24 triangles. Place 1 tbsp of beef mixture along the short side of each triangle; roll carefully. Place each
crescent point-side down 2" apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375°F for 11-14 min. or until golden brown. Serve warm. Makes 2 dozen.
