Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 cup butter, unsalted
1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup pumpkin purée
1/2 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp cloves
1/4 tsp ginger
1 cup dark mini chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar

1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup pumpkin purée
1/2 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp cloves
1/4 tsp ginger
1 cup dark mini chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs one at a time and beat until fluffy. Blend in vanilla and pumpkin purée. Sift together the dry ingredients, add the chips and blend it all in with the pumpkin mixture until everything just becomes smooth. Drop cookies by teaspoonful onto a parchment-lined or greased pan, flattening each one just slightly. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Yield: 3-4 dozen
