Penne Bolognaise

1 large onion, diced
1 lb ground beef
2 cups mushrooms, sliced
4 cups pasta sauce
6 cups cooked penne pasta

Sauté onion in a small amount of oil until golden. Add ground beef and cook until beef is browned. Add mushrooms and pasta sauce. Cook until mushrooms become soft and sauce is thickened slightly. Serve over penne. Serves 4-6.
