Mango-ade

Difficulty: easy Prep Time: Ten Minutes Total Time: 30 Minutes or Less
Puree:
2 cups mango
3/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 tsp chili flakes
1 cup water
Syrup:
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup water

For the syrup: Boil the sugar and water together for 1 minute, remove from heat and set aside to cool.

For the puree: In a high-powered blender, blend mango, lemon juice and chili flakes. Gradually add the water until it’s fully incorporated and then switch the machine to its highest setting. Blend for 15-20 seconds. Strain the mixture and whisk in the syrup to sweeten it to your taste. Serve cold.
Yield: 4-5 cups.
