5 lg (28 oz) cans saurkraut
salt & pepper
bay leaves
flour
pork squares
5 lg onions

Drain saurkraut and boil in salted, fresh water for 20-25 min. Put in baking dish. Fry onions and pork in 3 tbsp of vegetable oil. Add about 3 tbsp of flour to mixture in frying pan. Blend well. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add mixture to saurkraut. Mix bay leaves throughout. Bake in a 350°F oven for 1 hour. Remove bay leaves before serving.
