Just-a-Jiffy Pie

10 oz frozen strawberries, thawed
1 cup sugar
2 egg whites
1 1/2 Tbsp lemon juice
Pinch of salt
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla
1 9 inch graham crumb crust
1 cup sugar

Place strawberries, sugar, egg whites, lemon juice and salt in large mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed for 15 minutes. Scrape sides of bowl frequently. In a separate bowl, whip cream. Add vanilla. Fold whipped cream into strawberry mixture. Pile over crumb crust. Freeze for several hours or overnight. Garnish with whole strawberries to serve. Makes 9 servings.
