Homemade BBQ Sauce

Difficulty: easy Prep Time: Five Minutes Total Time: More than 1 hour
2 cups balsamic vinegar
1 1/2 cups ketchup
2/3 cup brown sugar
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
4 tsp honey
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper

Combine all ingredients in a heavy-bottomed pan and cook over medium-high heat until reduced by 30 per cent. Allow to cool completely before refrigerating. It will thicken by the next day. Yield: approximately 3-4 cups.
