Good Ol’ Goulash

Difficulty: easy Prep Time: Five Minutes Total Time: 30 Minutes or Less
1 lb ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
1 red pepper, chopped
2 cups elbow macaroni or rotini or both

Sauce
1 cup ketchup
1 tbsp vinegar
2 tsp mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar (more or less to taste)

Brown beef in large skillet with onion and red pepper. Add contents of sauce and mix well. Let simmer. Meanwhile, cook macaroni and drain. Stir pasta into meat mixture. Let simmer for 10 min. to allow the flavours to blend. (Tip: The sauce recipe is also a delicious topper for homemade spaghetti, sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.)
