Fresh Berry Cobbler

2 tbsp flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups berries (raspberries, blueberries, bakeapples or partridgeberries)
3/4 cup water
Biscuit Dough
1 cup flour
1 tbsp sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
3 tbsp butter
1 egg, beaten
1/3 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar

Biscuit Dough
1 cup flour

2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
3 tbsp butter
1 egg, beaten
1/3 cup milk
Preheat oven to 350F. Mix the 2 tablespoons of flour with sugar and add berries and water. Cook over low heat until tender. Pour mixture into 9" x 13" casserole dish. Prepare biscuit dough by mixing flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together. In another bowl mix butter, add egg and milk. Combine to make a drop batter. Drop by spoonfuls onto berry mixture. Do not stir. Bake for 35-40 mins. Serve warm with cream or cool whip.
