Double Chocolate Brownie Cookies
1 3/4 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp vanilla
3 cups flour
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup toasted chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease 2 large baking sheets. In large bowl using electric mixer, beat butter with sugar. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time, then vanilla. In separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt; stir into egg mixture alternately with milk, making 3 additions of dry ingredients and 2 of milk. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans. Drop heaping tablespoons of batter onto prepared sheets 1 inch apart. Bake about 10 min. or until set around edges, yet soft in centre.
