Devilled Squidlets

Difficulty: easy Prep Time: Five Minutes Total Time: More than 1 hour
2 large squid hoods
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 tbsp oil
2 tsps brown sugar
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/4 tsp tabasco sauce

Cut squid lengthways into 1cm. strips, thread onto toothpicks. Combine remaining ingredients, except parsley, in a bowl. Add squid to the liquid and put in the refrigerator to marinate for a few hours. Barbecue squid, brushing with marinade, until tender. Sprinkle with parsley before serving. Yields 24.
