3 tbsp butter or margarine
1 small onion, finely chopped

2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp sugar
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Preheat oven to 350°F.

Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is thick and smooth.

Pour into prepared casserole dish and top with breadcrumbs. Set in a shallow pan of hot water and bake for 45 min.
Remove from oven and serve immediately. (Serves 6)
