Chocolate Chip Cookies

Difficulty: easy Prep Time: Five Minutes Total Time: 30 Minutes or Less
2 ¾ cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup butter, softened
2 cups dark brown sugar
2 large eggs, beaten
1 tbsp vanilla extract (pure)
2 cups chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375°F. Stir together flour, cocoa (if using) salt and baking soda. Set aside. In another large bowl, cream butter, both sugars and vanilla. Add eggs and mix well. Add flour mixture and blend well – do not beat. Add chocolate chips. Drop by spoonfuls onto parchment-lined pan and bake about 10-12 minutes
