6 chicken breast halves
1 egg, beaten
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup flour
1 cup bread crumbs
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder

Marinate chicken breasts in beaten egg and buttermilk mixture for at least 4 hours. Cut chicken in strips. Combine flour, bread crumbs, salt and baking powder and roll drained chicken in mixture. Fry in oil or deep fry. Note: Onion rings can be done in the same manner.
