Chewy Cream Cheese Cookies

1 pkg cream cheese
300g pkg chocolate chips
1/2 cup butter
2 1/2 cups flour
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/4 cups sugar

1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/4 cups sugar
Beat cream cheese with butter, egg and sugar until fluffy. Melt 1/2 of the chocolate chips and pour into batter. Stir in flour and baking soda along with remaining chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 1 dozen at a time at 350°F for 10 - 12 minutes or until browned around edges.
