1 tsp. magic baking power
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
1 cup milk or water
1 cup white sugar
2 tsp. cream
Tartar

Put all dry ingredients into a bowl and mix well. Make hole in centre, drop in egg, melted butter and milk; beat all together till light. Bake in greased cake pan for 30 to 40 minutes.
