Berry-Berry Pie
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup flour
Filling:
3 tbsp cornstarch
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
1 1/2 cups blueberries
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. lemon rind
1 cup raspberries
1 cup strawberries (halved)
Beat butter and 1/2 cup sugar with electric mixer until smooth. Add flour and continue mixing until mixture is crumbly. Press firmly up sides and bottom of 9" pie plate. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 to 15 min., cool 20 min. before adding filling. In saucepan combine cornstarch and 1 cup sugar. Stir in 1/4 cup water and 1 cup blueberries. Bring to a boil; stir constantly. Simmer until very thick. Remove from heat. Stir in lemon juice and lemon rind. Cool 5 min. Stir in raspberries, 1/2 cup blueberries, strawberries. Spoon into pie shell. Refrigerate until set - about 3 hours.
