Bannock

2 1/2 cups flour
6 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
1/3 cup butter
2 eggs
1 cup water

Combine first four ingredients. Add butter, rubbing it in to form fine crumbs. Combine eggs with water and add to the flour mixture. Stir to form soft dough; knead about 1 min. Roll dough into balls the size of a small egg, then flatten until 1/4-inch thick. To cook, put on the end of a stick (or place in a pan) and roast, rotating, over campfire about 10 min. Serve warm with butter, honey, or jam.
