Bakeapple Italian Sandwich

Soft Italian baguette - desired length

Shredded lettuce

Provolone cheese (any cheese will do but provolone i found the best)

Calabrese Salami

Prosciutto

Balsamic Glaze

Honey Mustard

The most important ingredient - Dark Tickle Bakeapple spread 

Salt & Pepper

 

 

I usually slice a soft, full length baguette through the middle (approx 18") so you're left with a top and a bottom.

Starting from the bottom, i spread on the honey mustard in a fairly light skim.

Then layer a generous portion of the meats.

Then the layer of desired cheese, provolone would be my choice.

Shredded lettuce on top of the cheese.

Salt & pepper the lettuce, then drizzle the balsamic glaze.

The top piece of baguette, i put a good skim of bakeapple spread, then lay the top on to complete the sandwich.

Sliced into three 6" servings typically.
